Catherine Fitchett is this week's editor on the Tuesday Poem hub where she has posted 'The Olduvai Gorge Thorn Tree' by North Carolina poet, Sarah Lindsay.
This is a magnificent poem - the simplicity of the language, the repetitions and rhythm create a kind of monumental strength of the kind we need in these difficult times. It's wonderful.
