too sick for a new poem

Sorry people, but I am really too sick to be inspired. This is the fifth or sixth week into a viral, or post-viral or new viral congestive lurgie. I am deeply, deeply over it but it appears to be completely into me.

But do skip over the  to the Tuesday Poem blog and read the evocative poem posted there by this week's editor, Tim Jones. It's a poem by Alistair Te Ariki Campbell and I love the lines:
and the yellow bee,
his holsters packed with bread,
rides the blue air like a drunken cowboy.
From the hub, you can saunter into other poetic worlds and - almost - leave your coughs, wheezes and snuffles behind...
I wish I looked this elegant!
