This is interesting reading anyway, but if you're a knitter and a poet, scroll down here for an instant shock of delicious recognition! And thanks Jo, for giving me this link!
This is it - I have to find a knitting book I've mislaid which tells me how to do that little gusset thingy on socks on two circular needles. Yes, I've mislaid Cat Bordhi's book and I've looked on all the available bookshelf space. (Okay, that means actually that I've looked on top of all bookshelved books.)It is not in the house. Could I have inadvertently transferred the book from my own snug backpack to the green calico ACLAR bag last Thursday? If so, some chldren's literature academic is toting my socks on circs recipe book and I want it back! I don't care so much about the little notebooks and the pencils that came with the conference bag I left on a seat which was later commandeered by some other conference-goer. But the sock book is mine! Particularly as I'm up to a crucial part of said sock (said SECOND sock - and all you knitters out there know this is a precious thing....)
