Rocked up to a meeting today only to work out in the first minute or so of the meeting that the course I was going to teach is the easiest one to cancel due to lack of student numbers. Pity that I'd spent a day angsting over it and preparing for it, not to mention the books I'd ordered to help me teach it. Oh well, that's the way it goes with sessional teaching - no guarantees. Doubtless I'll teach it somewhere else down the track.... I'm actually relieved I don't have to teach it this semester because I've got a pretty full semester as it is.
Now I can go and do some cleaning up with a clear conscience!
